Unlike other objective lenses, Vanquish has ocular lenses because they’re closer. Although they aren’t as compact as most roof prisms, this binocular does have a comfortable shape that is easy to hold, especially if you have large hands.

However, that doesn’t mean that a smaller hand won’t hold the binoculars comfortably. I tried handing it to my eight-year-old, and the grip was fantastic. Another unique feature to remember is that the IPD is perfect for every user, even a child with a close eye set.

The Vortex Optics Vanquish binoculars have a rubber-coated body to foster a tight grip under highly humid conditions. I noticed that the Vanquish has a thicker rubber coating, unlike other binoculars that are great for protection and durability.
